Okay, I've very recently started playing a bit of PC CoD, transitioning over from console. So far I'm really liking it but i only have one issue. My PC is a piece of crap which really is making my experience with it horrible.

I've come to a budget of $1,100 which, from what I've seen other people spending on gaming PCs, very realistic. I'm not expecting a top of the line super computer but I do want something that will enhance my gaming experience. I'll also be getting my brother to help me out with a lot of this stuff since he's a full hardware geek, but I was really wanting to see what you guys can show me.

I think I've set a decent budget, and I know I can build a respectable PC for it.

My questions for you guys is:
For that money, can I buy a decent pre-made PC, or would I need to build a custom one that would ultimately have similar specs.
Can I please be linked with popular hardware sites?
What are the most trusted brands that one would use to build a custom PC?

Thanks for your help!

1. never get premade (its a ripoff)

2. Can get good stuff with 1.1K

3. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php <--- most used

4. Silverstone, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte and G. Skill (my perspective)

Build a custom one, pccasegear.com.au
There are many popular brands which I won't go through, basically follow the link that 3fasko posted. If you need to make budget cuts here or there do not get a cheap quality power supply.

Your paying more for less, if you're going to get a Ti, well don't. Just go with the usual 560 or go 570, nuff said.

10% increase over gtx 560 for 25% of the cost. It's a loser.
