India's team are experienced enough and have played in Australia enough to know the conditions and be able to adapt quickly to the conditions, and the batsmen aren't the only ones to blame. Australian wickets are a bowlers paradise and their bowling attack was not able to capitalize on superb bowling conditions. They bowled horrid lines and lengths and couldn't take wickets... 2 losses this series were by more than an innings... that is an absolute disgrace no matter who you are or how much preparation you've had. You can't blame the preparation on a performance as disgraceful as what India did.

I never said they played good I know they played shit even for the limited preparation they had though thats mainly down to an ageing team they realistically should of been ousted after the England tour well Laxman and Sehwag should have anyway. The fact Rohit Sharma didnt play a test is a crime. There bowling was terrible. Zaheer Khan only bowled well when he waned to (Mitchell Johnson the second), Sharma was underdone and Yadav was terribly inconsistent. Praveen Kumar would of given them the consistency they needed. Gambhir hadnt played a test before is Austalia it showed, Sehwag cant bat full stop, Dravid is too old, Tendulker is terribly over rated, Laxman is too old. Theres your top 5 that really Tendulker is the only one that should of been there. With decent delectors they would of put up a decent fight with decent preparation
But the Indian selectors value the reputations of the senior Indian batsmen far too much to be willing to drop them/force them into retirement, just like the Australian selectors were last year with some of our senior boys (although it paid off in the long run). And I completely agree about Rohit Sharma, that's an absolute disgrace.

What I say the team should of been is Kohli should of played 3, Sharma at 5 and Raina at 6. Jadega could also fit in there as well and the younger Pathan. And they really missed Praveen Kumar he gets that ball hooping

HAHA moving forward HAHA funny guy. Test matches/test rivalries are shells of the classic West Indian v Australia and Pakistan v India. Now the only decent rivalry in international cricket is Australia v England which in 2005 and 2009 wound back the clock to the great series of years pass.

I love how you say cricket has moved forward you have no clue. State cricket boards are flat out broke and Cricket Australia arent doing great either. But yeah moving forward haha. Decades past you could go and watch a decent Sheffield Shield game. It may be better then 4 years ago but its still a shell of what a great comp it used to be. But you cant blame the players get 10 times as much money to have a couple of slogs or bowl 4 overs as opposed to playing actual cricket for 4 days.

So you went to sheffield sheild games? and went to W.I vs Aus?
Cricket is where one team bats the other team tries to bowl them out, all 20/20 is, is a shorter version of test cricket where the players use more energy with everything they do as they don't have to stay there for 5 days.

But we get a larger audience in 3 hours than about 2 days.

Im not denying that I know 20/20 is the future I know it is but it shouldnt be. It was originally designed to a revenue based game only, which is where it should of ended it shouldnt be as competitive as it is now. I have no problem seeing Warne, Hogg, Macgill , Hayden etc playing it but comon Shaun Marsh playing a Big Bash game in preparation for a Boxing Day Test thats pathetic. The first two years of 20/20 is Aus we saw heaps of people micd up having conversations with the commentators giving fans an insight while batting and having a laugh, we saw the Allstars of Warne, Mcgrath, Hayden and Gilchrist play a game while all micd up that was great. I hate that its become competitive it should be a fun event.
