So I need a little help picking out a laptop, basically have a budget of around 1,500-2,200 and needs to have a few key specs:

-Needs 1 SSD and 1 HDD
-Decent graphics (hold 250 on CoD4) preferably nvidia 500 series
-1080 screen is a must
-Screen size and weight isn't a problem

Before people spam "buy a PC, better for gaming" This is for Uni/work/LAN Shoutcasting purposes

So far I have been considering the Asus G53 and some Dell laptops (my Dell laptop is still going strong after 6 years of constant abuse, not sure if the quality is still similar though)

Would love to hear CGs opinion on the matter and where I should buy the laptop from

Cheers guys

PC Platform Mod
I don't know if the ASUS G53 has an SSD + HDD, but I know it has a Seagate Momentus 500GB Hybrid, (SSH) Which is pretty good.

Talk to SpearDave, I think he loves the G73 I recommended/showed him

Should be fine

In reality most laptops around that price range will do what your asking...

Only think i dislike about laptops is there non updatability... there just a brick eventually..

I get a new laptop every 2-3 years and spend about 1k can't really justify more than that....

Current HP one gets 250 in cod easy

I'm getting off games and want a bit more freedom, all I'll be playing next year is Diablo 3.

The only thing that I don't like is losing my STX, Dell and Filco in the process.
