No its not? We had an original list of prizes which weren't as good for HoN, when we got in contact with S2 who helped us provide much better prizes.

S2 has been nothing but fantastic for helping us with this event, its just a shame for this event only, we got in contact so late. We will be able to start locking in and discussing with S2 right from next week for the next event since we now have a relationship.



Fair call, but shinkz has had nothing to do with the release of prize list, or even the schedule. I have consulted him a few times, and he has been a great help in format and when I wanted to just double check something with someone from the HoN community.

AFAIK, shinkz may have had a 1-2 days headstart in knowing what the original prizes were before S2 got on board, and 1-2 days before I published the new prizes with S2's involvement. For the first half of January, he kept telling me that Fray probs wouldent be attending, and he may or may not (he only would be because we are friends and sometimes work with each other) be attending himself. When Fray made the decision to attend, it was in the same boat as anyone else, no knowledge of if there would even be prizes for HoN, no knowledge of who else was going, but I guess they decided at the time, it would be fun at least anyway.

To bring the entire team as a whole for a casual event is a bit of a stretch.

Does Hon conflict with cod4 at all cas?

Yeah I kinda thought that theres a high correlation between CoD and HoN players, so I tried to split it a bit. There is a bit of an overlap, but I think you should be right to compete in both (just if you progress to far in both you will have to pick one comp over the other).



I've said what I understand, I am not in Fray and only really know shinkz from Fray that well, so I cant comment on what they do as a team, only when I was aware of them changing from not coming to wanting to come (which was prior to them or even myself, knowing anything of the prizes). Your welcome to believe what you want, but for quite a few events, we were much more a "social competitive" LAN, rather than offering cash prizes and serious competitions, and still had many teams fly in....

Edit: don't forget it's BYOC, which could make it difficult for some teams to attend. It was also short notice for us well. I just got my work shifts swapped today so I could attend. When Shinkz first asked me if I would be interested (to which I replied 'yes') there was no mention of a prize.
