Sloth Gaming, created days before the Immunity cup began in an effort to build a team from ground up with big goals and never settling for less. 1 week after forming, already securing our position inside the top 10 in Aus.

Realistically, we have enough members that could field a team in any 8v8 format if we arranged matches on nights where everyone is on, and comfortably place in the top 8 Cyber Gamer. However that puts a massive workload on myself. If you've ever captained a team, even in a smaller format game at a lower competitive level, you'll quickly see the hurdles that need to get jumped.

This leaves Sloth Gaming in a position where we're going to do one of 2 things. Each with some ups and downs.

1 – Continue recruiting and cycling through members. Pushing through a seemingly endless cycle of team hoping and roster changing as all the top teams face, especially amongst the top 10 teams.

2 – We find another home. Intentionally not calling this a merge for various reasons, as I will outline below. This thread will mainly be about this option, and will be a list of pre-requisities that will be met with little to no compromise to go ahead.

Perhaps no team will be able to offer what we would demand. In which case, recruiting it is. However if we could join a team that would be ideal, as to skip the BS phase of endless roster changes.

SPOILER: Click to view

I'm already talking with some teams. But we're not settling for anything less than dedicated.

If we fail to find a team to meet all of above. We will get a more serious name and image, something not thrown together 2 days before an invitational cup. Then we will push hard and recruit hard, getting to where we want to be one way or another.

Cheers,

Sloth Gaming - Felpo and the Team.

isnt hard to be in a top 10 team when there isnt even 10 decent teams around in bf3.

just my 2 cents.
also from what it looks like you want from a team, and the support you want, your in the wrong game for it.

If you could place in the top 8 comfortably why didn't you get into the invite comp

In before lack of practice, QMX had just as little.

Hrm a team that's been together for years being top tier team in previous Battlefield titles vs a team of thrown together players who no-one knows.

Sure each team may only get 2 days to prac. But it's pretty obv which team will win. Heh. Not the team where no-one knows each other. At that time, QMX were the better team and deserved the spot in the cup.

And yes rotax, you're right on. Hence aiming for international comps, cg means so little. If we were to join a team to offer that support, than you have a 99.9% chance that the team will move from Battlefield soon enough anyway, in which, we share the same goal and would follow. Be it whatever competitive title.
