Hello,

I am warping alot lately and I am not sure why......

Modem: Cisco DPQ3925

Times that it happens: 5pm - onwards.

I could assume that it's because of heavy traffic but I am not entirely sure....

I am with optus living in South East subrubs of Vic.

Please help!

That is most likely it. Your exchange can't cope with the amount of traffic at peak times, not your fault, not alot you can do about it.(if that is the problem)

OMG! It makes sense now!

I don't get it to be honest.....I was with Optus a few years back, left and now am back with them again....Has the population grown that much that optus and other providers cant handle the traffic?

Basically it's pot luck with Optus at the moment.

They've been investigating issues forever.

So according to Optus, my issue with Warping and a few of my other problems was a result of a faulty modem.

Getting new one, hopefully that fixes everything

Hope thats all it is. Had this problem a while back. Tracert next time it happens, and if you get seriously high spikes a one particular router, it's a typical Optus overloading. Use to give me the shits.

Hope all goes well Killz
