Hey guys, currently I have a crappy Thomson TG782T. Was given it by telstra when my family signed up. From the stuff I have read its a pretty shit router, I have used it for about 2 years now. I am currently on an ADSL+2 line with telstra, do experience some conjestion at peak times. What I am wondering is if it is worth it to buy a new router, suggestions on routers, and what difference if there is any that a new router will bring? Budget is bout $200ish.

Cheers Enzoe, I do also need wireless, but not for gaming just general usage. Lenny, I know conjestion wont be solved by a new router I don't expect it to be.

I don't think it's worth it, tbh. Unless you play MW2 or MW3. The TG782T has all kinds of port issues but it can be solved through telnet.
