Very well done James Bond style.

Think it will be a bad film, I have too much respect for the original and the books, and doubt Hollywood is capable of pulling off something good nowadays.

I loved the Swedish film, but Fincher is on a roll. Zodiac, Benjamin Button, The Social Network... (remember hes the guy who made Fight Club and Se7en as well) I'm confident his version will be as good or equivalent to the Swedish film. In fact considering the reviews so far I know it will be good.

I just watched a cam version of it, its very very good, although it just feels too much like the original mainly because its set in the same time, same country and obviously uses like 70% of the same story. Unfortunately I don't think there was any way to over come these problems so taking that into consideration its an amazing movie, 9/10. However if you really enjoyed the original then this movie just won't have as much of an effect on you so its probably closer to 7/10. Because of the quality of the acting and the typical OCD directing by Fincher it will probably receive lots of attention from the Oscars etc.
