Well i have some spare time while i'm going to reformat my better pc so i decided i want to overclock my bad pc and i have no idea how to do so.

Do you overclock the cpu or gpu or can you do both.

Whats the best programs to use.

My details:
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 3450
CPU: Intel Core Duo E7400 @ 2.80 GHz
OS: Vista 32 Bit

I tried to do this a few year back could not really work it out from youtube did not want to **** the computer completely.

If someone is willing enough to teach me over ts, vent etc that would be good.

imo use the Bios for your CPU, and if you really want to OC graphics, use google to find a suitable GPU overclocking program, i used EVGA precision to put mine to 980mhz, but you cant do your own volts with that program.

You overclock the CPU and the GPU individually. Overclocking the CPU will help to an extent. The graphics card is beyond saving, it's a card aimed at media playback rather than gaming.

Don't try to overclock more than a few hundred megahurtz without an aftermarket cooler.
