I still dont understand what to pick, i heard the cherry red requires alot less force but is susceptible to misclicking keys when typing. Need a decision now as I am going to buy now.

Black = high force, no feedback, no click
Blue = low force, click + feedback
Brown/Clear = low force, feedback without click
Red = low force, no feedback, no click

I'd recommend browns, because you get the feedback for typing and button presses, it just takes a while to stop bottoming out on your keystrokes.

So the parts arrived and I'm installing the cpu, when putting the bracket down under the little screw on the bottom, are you meant to apply some force when pulling down the lever? There appears to be some resistance.

Also how should i apply the thermal compound? A small amount in the middle and push down with the cooler or spread it out?

I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials on youtube on how to do these things.

yeah - the little indented parts on the sides need to line up with the socket on the board.

Also listen to ninjashak - google this shit or you'll ask every question there is and end up annoying everybody and not getting any help.
