Im having some problems with my internet atm. I was recently overseas and when i returned the internet was fine but has for some reason started to turn its self off and on for no reason mostly when im playing cod but other times just when im on facebook or youtube so i believe it isnt cod. I have called the internet provider (iinet) and they told me to reset it and power charge it i have done this but still it keeps turning itself off and on im quite puzzled at what is wrong with it does anyone have any idea?

P.s installed a new internet socket aswell nothing changed. My parents also told me the internet was doing funny things when there was work being done on the roads outside. Any info would be handy thankyou

Have you properly installed your fingerbox? If so, check the exchange.

that really isnt a good thing.
Try putting it somewhere where it can get some nice airflow.

Is it the Modem that turns off, or does the internet cut?

Hmm, it could be an internal problem.
Have a look at the DSL socket on the wall, and on the modem, make sure it's securely in its socket(s).

Also, you could try another DSL cable over your current one, to eliminate it as the cause.
I'm no tech-wiz, just throwin' some advice, ;D

Used to have an ironer that my mum used, which would short circuit all electronic gear in the house (TV, PC, Modem ,etc.) Perhaps you're having a similar problem but its only affecting your net/modem.

reloaded wtf are you on about..................

it would be a problem with your carrier's lead-in cable since you said someone was diggin up outside. or your modem is on its way out
