If you are on a budget, are
NOT going to be buying a sound card, and have shitty on board (for example ALC883). Just buy some G35's, but don't install the drivers, and use stereo in game and in your windows settings.
People can bash them all they like but when using shitty on board and say a pair of AD700's the G35's will have better directional sound without their surround sound option on, and with windows and in game settings set to stereo.
Also their quality is not as bad as some people make out, when I owned G35's I repeatedly dropped them on my hard wooden desk and they were fine.
If you are looking for more than directional sound/accuracy I do not recommend G35's as they sound pretty shit.
Also you should really save up more and buy a decent pair of cans + sound card its a good investment.
