This is Warner's second test century and he's only playing in his 5th Test... i think that says something.
Also he is not a "slogger". He picks the lengths early and punishes the bad balls... he has raw strength and can hit sixes off a technically correct off drive, explain how this is slogging? He has exceptional technique and a great eye. He knows what to leave, what to defend and what to send to the boundary... and with the field so attacking in test cricket, playing his natural game can only be beneficial as he will easily clear the infield and race away for 4... The reasons he has hit lower scores in the past is because he doubts himself and plays too conservative which causes discomfort in his playing... this will just cause him to be dismissed easier and more often. Just continue to play the way he is playing and it will be very hard to stop him. He is definitely bringing something new to Test cricket and it is definitely a good thing!
