Personally I think the Eels have a good shot if they play to their strengths/full potential
Its just the fact that they are so on and off that screws them over every year

Eels need to stabilize their team early. They showed form when they had the same line up week in week out. Although it was only rare they could do so, when they could, it worked. Hayne needs to stay at Fullback. The experiment with him at 5/8 failed miserably and should never be spoken about again. They know have 2 solid halves in Ben Roberts and Chris Sandow. Their forward pack has so much potential and needs to hit gear early.

If they manage to keep a solid line up for the majority of the season, they could fly under the radar.

The pick up of Sandow is a crucial one, cant wait to see what he delivers

For Sandow to deliver, the forwards need to lay the platform for him. The same goes for Hayne. Backs can't work on anything unless the forwards do the hard yards. The year Parra made the GF the forwards played amazing. Since then, they've completely bitched out against bigger, more aggressive packs.

Actually I'm pretty sure parramattas forwards were some of the top metre gainers last year and the team in general. They just couldn't scores points because our defense wasn't too bad either ,most of the time.

rabbitoh's were my underdog pick last year but they lost Sandow.

Origin has potential. Nsw selectors need to take the cocks out of their asses and do something good for a change. I would totally endorse bringing Buderus back to hooker for it. Ennis is a ******* terrible player. He works ok at club level because he can frustrate even the coolest of players (ie, Hindmarsh), but his grubbery doesn't work on a state level. Farah is an ok player when he has good support around him, such as Marshall. If he had been the hooker for the past 3 years (which he should have been), I would prefer him there, but without the experience, I would prefer Buderus. Also, Hayne moves to wing, Stewart in at fullback. I still see Queensland winning it though. Shifting Cronk from bench utility into 5/8, and bringing Sandow will still keep them very strong and dangerous.

It is going to be an interesting year though.

Everyone is gearing up saying the knights have got this, I'm still on the fence, I think it's going to take a season or 2 for them to actually perform to Bennets expectations, especially with all the changes that have been made
