Beefay and I are both having issues trying to connect to a BF3 server, beyond the loading screen.
Game crashes with error message of "Failed to connect to EA Online"

We are both from Perth, and both with iinet. Anyone else getting the same? Last night was fine, and I managed to play a server for about 2 mins before it became permanent.
Any help appreciated.

No problems so far with me except on launch date but apart from that, everything was fine.

Never heard of amnet. iinet is good for its 3fl downloads with steam.

Im Westnet ( same thing) and have the same issue , another clan mate in Kal on iinet has the issue as well.

Last scrims I played I got a "failed to connect" a couple of times, and 2-3 disconnects during the game. I've given up playing BF3 the last few weeks because it becomes such an effort to even get in the game.

I was running an old computer, which may be the cause of some of the issues, my new tower arrives this week, so I'll post an update to see if it makes a difference... if it doesn't, it would appear the problem lies with iinet

I have a decent rig with iinet no problems but doubt it would be the rigs problem unless urs is shibza. atm though, seems like its iinets fault with all the complaints from other users

Yeah, I had issues yesterday, from early arvo to around 9pm WST I constantly got "you were disconnected from EA online (1)" then the issue went away and today has been fine.

Haven't had any issues, but then again I haven't been playing too much.

Is it still ongoing?

sounds like the packets aren't going where they're supposed to...maybe the internode acquisition is causing a few headaches

Mine is all good again today, as is Beefay.
A google search merited many people having the problems, based on the latest Origin patch.
Anyway, all good now, Iinet still the best ISP!!!

Always happens at the same time to me and my mate (both on iinet, he however lives in kal)
