No, other spastics who cannot comprehend what is meant by 'stock weapons, no unlocks' are doing it wrong.
Interesting. Does this mean the people who didn't understand the rules should have leaned on that great tool, Assumption, and just done whatever they thought was meant?
Maybe that way we could have had disputed matches, in-game arguments, spoiled games; and THEN we could have thrashed it out on the forums afterwards (instead of before).
The rules contained self-contradictory statements. Worse, the self-contradictory statements were to be interpreted in different ways for different weapons (stock LMG w/out bipod, stock sniper w/ scope). The word "Stock" meant "Starting" as well as "Unmodified" (except for LMG's) and new readers were supposed to pick this up... how? Stephen Hawking, brand new to BF3, would have had questions.
Your wording of "Stock weapons, no unlocks" is better than the "Stock weapons, no attachments" actually found in the rules, but still not correct - the LMG's used are not stock, since their bipods are banned. Thankfully they clarify this on the rules page by listing the loadouts (without stating the X7/X8 scope are allowed).... ah ****it, I give up here, case in point.
