Does anyone else take unusually long times to load into a game? Its really putting me off playing bf3. I guess i have a decent computer. i52500k, 6950, 4gb ram

Any Suggestions on how to decrease loading times.

edit: It takes more than 2 minutes... and usually i just give up and quit.

It only every takes me a long time when I first start BF3. If I go play another server no loading issues.

It depends on what settings etc, sometimes i get loading times on low of literally 5 seconds and other times its a minute >< on high its usually 1 minute + loading times however (running i5 760, 4gb ram and a GTX 460)

i know a mate who has an ssd with the same specs as me and it takes me less time to load bf3- i don't think an ssd would help. i also know other friends with ssds and i load faster

My bf3 takes a fair while to load all the original maps once I've played them all though it takes only a few seconds to load in ( normally 30seconds -1minute)

on bf3 first start up and every other map takes me about 10 seconds to load but if its the same map or a smaller map only about 3 or 4 seconds normally i get in while its still waiting for players to join.

i run 8 gig of vengeance 2600k @ 4.6 and a 6870 ATM along with a 120gig force serious 3.

Moral of the story. want faster load times you can either upgrade to 8 gig of ram or buy an ssd or lower your settings right down

Can't really help you as I'm another one of the neglected 200 series gfx card users with 32 bit win7 that is unable to run the game for more than 20 minutes at a time. GG drivers.
