New format for finals

Due to feedback from the community, we have changed up the finals format slightly. This should be much more inline with what people want.

All rounds – Knife on Nuketown for first map. Losing team then picks 2nd map. Should it get to a 3rd map, then both teams will remove 1 map from whatever is left (starting with who initially won the knife round) until there is only 1 remaining, and play that. You attack first on the map that you choose. On the 3rd map where noone gets to pick, the team that won the initial knife round gets to pick which side they want.

The map pool for the finals is as follows. These are what may be picked as your map, and what will be whittled down during the 3rd round.
Grid
Hanoi
Villa
Firing Range
Summit
Jungle
Havana


In the 3rd round, the 2 maps that were already played are considered to be already removed from the list and you may veto out the remaining maps.

Just to clear up a couple of sticking points with the community
uac3 WILL be used
The sprint/ads bug has been fixed on CG servers

EDIT: Updated to make it so that whoever won the initial knife round gets to pick what side they want in the 3rd map.

I will most likely be setting up the challenges tomorrow after work, in keeping with the original timeline. This also gives that little bit of extra time to get things behind the scenes working.

Also i hope everyone has tested UAC3 and verified that it won't cause issues in the match.

It says in the OP

Whoever won the inital knife round gets to pick the first map, not that it matters as they will get to remove 2 maps each anyway

Honestly it shouldn't be BO1 on a selected map for quarters, they should all be BO3 as that particularly map may be a distinct advantage for one and a disadvantage for the other. Although it is your guys call I guess.

The decision to choose hanoi is because it has been played the most out of every map. Every team has lots of experience on it, and so its the most common ground for everyone

Havana street is a much much much much much better option.

Sure nuketown is small, but it's cluttered to shit and I don't fancy running around the ******* bus for 30 minutes untill someone ****s up.

Thats why this thread is up and why im not making challenges until tomorrow night To promote discussion on little things like that which could be used to improve the finals.
