So I got my PC today brand new. I get everything working, install drivers and stuff. But when I put in Crysis to install it, I notice it taking ages to load. I then go to my computer to manually start it up but for some reason the actual DVD Disk Drive isn't there. My PC doesn't recognize it anymore or something... My disk drive is a LG Blu-Ray.

The computer did recognize it before because I used it, but in a few hours its just gone. I can still eject it and the lights are still on. Anyone know how to fix this?

Yeah, my disk drive doesn't even come up.

1. Check the thing has power and data cables connected. If not, plug in.

2. Check the drive opens when you hit the button. If not it's ******* dead or the power cable is, try new power cable.

3. Right click my computer > Properties > Device Manager > CD/DVD Drives > Right click LG CH10/12 // BH10/12 > Uninstall. Reboot.

4. If drive does not appear there try with different data cable in different sata port.

Try those things.
