GA are pretty cheap

they are all pretty cheap, i just want something reliable =(

We have 3 with three different providers, IMHO Multiplay are the cheapest and most reliable.

Game arena - requires you to restart the server every day at 4-5am.
Game server are expensive and their support is useless
Had no experience with Hypernia but Multiplay are cheap (pay in euro, but the conversion makes it the cheapest), reliable and have live support 24/7. Also when you upload files to the server they are automatically synced to server ie: available and the server can read them. Game Area requires a waiting time or a restart and Game Server sometimes reads sometimes doesnt.

This has been my experience so far - ohhh and our mutiplay server (ranked 20 in AUS, and 500 in the world) has the lowest ping compared to the other 2

All servers need to be restarted if you change the server config for it to take effect. There's nothing really else you would be uploading besides some admin plugins and banners that you just do once when you set up the server.


Ping usually just depends on what connection you are on, location and what the current ping is when you refresh the server list (pings fluctuate). I get 7 ping to the heavy snowflake server, which ISP is that?

Have just went and purchased a 32 player Game Arena server. Thanks for your help.

Just need help setting up the map rotation, having a little trouble at the moment. I've tried setting it through game arena server web management, restart but no luck.

Can any help.

Just done it through ProCon, let hope it works OK ... however if you have a gamearena server and know how to set it up correctly. Please let me know.
