I have finished creating a video and am ready to pre render or export.

I have tried re rendering the video in a few different settings including TIFF and quiktime

I have also tried exporting as a quiktime movie and an AVI movie with mild settings and still can't have a result.

The render tends to stop/ crash when it reach about 100 frames of rendering.

*This hasn't happened before and have rendered with high settings for videos with nearly 10k frames.
*This video only has about 500 frames.

Any help out there would be appreciated.

EDIT: Sometimes I get a message saying something along the lines of ''out of memory''
EDIT: Also tried exporting as a MPEG-4 default settings and AVI default settings.

does it happen even on wmv?

"Occasionally, After Effects may display an alert message indicating that it requires more memory to display or render a composition. If you receive an out-of-memory alert, free memory or reduce the memory requirements of the most memory-intensive layers, and then try again. "

Still no luck, I've tried wmv and for the first time it reached 229 framses before having that white screen on aecs4. Left it for 10 minutes but no progress so just ended the process.

The 2nd time i've tried it, aecs3 gives me this message.

''After Effects: AEGP Plugin Media IO Plugin
Media IO2 error: 0x4
Not enough memory to complete this encoding''

I'm coming to think its a memory problem?
and as you said before about reducing memory on layers, how do I do it.

Cheers
