I've put my PC into "High Performance" power plan and I haven't had any drop outs, does that narrow down the cause?

It stopped it from dying lol, only got my first BSOD early this week.
Still am wondering what the issue is.

i fixed my probolems my mates gave me a new power suppply and it has stopped ever since so yeah try a different power supply dude and hes also told me that it could also be my graphics card becuase if some spec wernt working properly your pc will turn off by itself so the broken spec cant do damage to other specs so yeah just chamnge your gfx card
