So basically I am going to make a thread like this every day or so for each of the individual custom maps that i think may or may or not be viable.

The purpose of this thread is not for idiots to come in and say "It's shit", "Dont bother", or even just say "It's good"... If you have an opinion on it, justify it. Say why you may think it's shit or why you think it's good.

Here's just a few little snaps of the map..

Here's a link to the map itself:

http://cfgfactory.com/skins/show/4e3ef681a366b

Or you can just download it from Map pack 1 which is:

My personal opinion on the map...

I really liked it, the layout seems great, its not overly big, but not too small either, size seems just about right. The defence get to the bomb sites first before the attacking team which will allow them to set up and make it a more defence sided map... Which is how all maps should be. It looks like it will take some good teamwork to push the sites and get a plant down. There are 2 sniper crosses, which seem quite strong (1 for attack and 1 for defence) but can easily be smoked if done right and shouldn't be that OP. Mid section seems like the key, if you control mid you will have the upper hand on the map. The map has very tall buildings, which will make a lot of set nades from one side of the map to the other not as strong as other maps.

I would like to scrim and play it a bit more, but currently is seems really viable and a lot better than most of the Cod 4 maps we play right now. Definitely better than Crash and Crossfire.

It's a really big map, but the flow of gameplay on it is really enjoyable.
Would be nice to see it in the Australian scene.

Europeans have done exhibition matches of this map, might be good to chat to them (if you haven't already)
pointless, please stop saying it

I'll load it up in a second. But from memory it's more of a CS map, that is defence have both sites on lock down from the beginning and the attacking team will generally zerg one of the sites. Probably not an ideal map but we do need something new.

map plays out a bit like city imo. (have only played it twice so far though)

If you control mid you can quickly rotate, while both sites have their defence set up fairly well as the attackers will attempt to take control of mid and rush the crap out of a bomb site.

Ive seen a few euro streams where they have played it, looks decent i wouldnt mind testing it out...
Might even be worth trying to run a customs map comp, even though the last ones have failed miserably rofl.

Seems like a really good map. Kind of reminds me of district how defence gets to sites first so the attack has to be strong, but if attack holds mid they win and visa versa.

well it's viable

i don't really love the map though, way too much advantage for defence. it 100% promotes x5 style defending and cs style site zerging

so while it will work fine I'm not looking forward to the inevitable zerging aspect
