EA are SK's. Net at my uni costs $30/gb. My BF3 hasn't been updated since a couple of weeks after release and will need to download B2K map pack and latest patches. Downloading these from uni net will probably cost in excess of $200 which is money used for booze.

I'm looking for someone in the Canberra/ACT area that will allow me to come over to their house to copy their BF3 game folder to save on having to download the patches. Willing to pay a fee for inconvenience caused/niceness received.

You could just bring a hard drive to the persons house and copy the folder Might be easier

Will it work if I just copy the game folder? Thought there was registry shit that went on as well.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3
Copy paste that folder to a external hdd and you are good to go

Yes it will work fine. You just install origin, start to download the bf3 game. Pause download close origin. Copy and paste the folder with bf3 in it where your origin games install to, click repair/update and it should work fine
