Okay, so today my EasyCap arrived, I was very excited. However when I went to set it up, I realised my stone age TV doesnt have any output ports. Which is REALLY ANNOYING because I thought it did. I had the S Video cord all ready for the highest SD and everything. Turns out I plugged it into an input. DERP.
So now what? How to achieve the highest quality with no TV output.
I will need splitters that send the signal in 2 directions, one to TV, one to PC.
However, what cords should I use to maintain highest quality? My Xbox runs via AV cables that came with it to this handy little AV selector device, then through more AV cables to the TV.
Because the Xbox signal is being sent via the AV cables that came with, does this mean that the quality can't exceed that of an AV cable anyway?
OR
Can I split the signal as early as possible using higher quality cords. I don't even know if a splitter exists that has AV female to AV male and S Video male. I doubt it.
So there is my dilemma, No TV output, want highest possible quality from EasyCap DC60+
If the solution means going out and buying a whole bunch of cords/adaptors/splitters etc. thats alright, willing to buy that extra stuff.
Please if anyone can help my situation it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks CG.
