It seems to be recording for maybe 5 mins at a time then the recording screen on my computer freezes and stops recording even though the timer keeps running and it says its recording, no my computer does not freeze, nor the program, just the recording seems to :/, and the only way to make it work is turn pvr on and off, i have the latest drivers off the site, but still keeps doing this!, please help as i payed 300$ to get this damn thing and ive had it for 1 day :[

and the clip still saves in amazing quality but as soon as it freezes i cant see the rest of the clip, its like it just stops recording and stops working every 5 minutes :/ there must be a fix, ive seen other people with same problem online but they haven't posted what the solution was

Does your sony vegas freeze when your rendering a clip??? or like not go past 0% is that what your talking about? mine was freezing and I fixed it by downgrading the hd pvr drivers, I know that seems stupid but try downgrading the drivers and see what happens man, If that doesn't work you need to explain to me exactly whats happening or whatever and ill try and help you as i just got mine about 4 days ago and ive figured everything out.

Yeah try downgrading the drivers, if not try re-installing everything.

Thats exactly it the Gaming edition runs at a high frame rate that sony vegas and others cant handle so you have to install the lower drivers for it too work if that dosnt work then idk whats going wrong

Where do I get lower drivers from? On hauppauge site they only have newest, thanks guys!

download the links in the description, your pvr has to be plugged in when downgrading the drivers.

virtuez, are you helping me with a problem regarding editing in sony vegas, because my problem is with capturing? :S just want to clarify
ive update drivers now ill try and record and tell you how it goes

downgrading the drivers will help with the capturing as well, it will make it more smooth, etc
