Hey guys, having issues with a new PC I bought. Basiclly everything on it is *decent* apart from the shitty hole graphics card. On my other computer, I use @ my dads, It is a ATI Radeo HD 4600 series, and gets in promod 90-125 FPS in most maps, and on this PC, I got a 5400 series and I get 20-40 FPS everywhere. Any tips to get it somewhat up to 60+.

I'll tell ya some specs of the machine:
AMD Phenom || Quad Core x840 3.20 ghz processor
8GB DDR3 1333MHZ Memory
ATI 5450 2GB Video Card
2TB harddrive, guessing that's all yas need.

P.S: I'm a PC noob so tell me if I should buy something with a link, because I have the money to do so, but I'd prefer not to.

Thank

PS: I advised xenon that he should add 100Mhz to his core clock so it has been overclocked a touch. Would have to ask him which 5400 series card it is but!

The drivers for ATI cards are ******ed, that's primarily why you will find a lot of FPS issues with them. I have the 6970 and regardless of the hardware the drivers are pathetic.

are you dumb?

my 6 year old 7800GTX sitting on the floor would get more FPS than the 5450.. your comparing something completely different to something different.

5450 is a budget card, and a heap of shit.

To many, must_b_game

Anyways, any other sulutions, or else I'll just go buy a new card 'cause I'm pretty lazy fiddling with everything in the config just to hit 60fps :>

You failed to mention your OS? Could be nothing, could be the underlining to some problems with specific specs.
