Hey guys, i've been a long member now of Cybergamer and have participated in many ladders and different various games but have never really made it to the top of any singular league. It always seems no matter what league my friends and i join there are always people better then us at that game. My proposition is to create and Ultimate Team. What i mean by this is to create a ladder/league where it is across many different games.
Many people seem to have purchased the big 3 games , Modern warfare 3, Halo: Reach and Battlefield 3 so i was wondering what peoples thoughts are about creating a 4v4 ladder across all 3 games. Challenges would obviously work the same way but would be randomly selected on a game and then team voted on which maps to play on. Eg. Team 'X' challenges team 'A' , team 'A' accepts , an admin or what ever shall select the game (Halo: Reach) and then the challenging team selects 3 maps and time slots to propose to the defending team , which will accept which ever they would like to play.
These games would be an obvious choice because they are all consistent with a 4v4 game format and most members of Cybergamer would have purchased them. Halo: Reach will obviously have its 4v4 custom lobby's with the MLG style game types and variants, Modern Warfare 3 would have ACL style 4v4s, and Battlefield 3 will have the Squad rush game type. Obviously Battlefield 3 has no private servers/ lobbies and in their last game BFBC2 8 people were needed to fill a lobby so this will all depend on their 1.5GB patch released in February.
How ever it could be expanded to not revolve around these games as games such as Gears of War 3, Guitar hero, Halo Wars could all be added into the mix. Other games like FIFA and Forza could also be added through a 1v1 system but that might be stretching it.
Any way guys please let me know what you think, obviously some people will dislike the idea but please stay on topic and no flaming (:
