I work in heavy maintenance melbourne for qantas, and they were building this big patio type area and they have these metal styrips that you put the beams in and bolt them on the side to hold them in. Anyway, they weren't covered, and my mate and I were walking past there and he pushed me and I tripped and my leg was cut on the corner of one and it cut me right down to the bone. You could see veins, tendons, everything. Was pretty ****ed up, not a drop of blood came out and I did not even feel it.
I was only 1 cm away from hitting a main tendon or something which if I did hit, I would have had to learn how to walk again as I would have been in intensive care for like 6 months.
Well after the shock I was taken to hospital and had to have salt water and 4 long needles into the flesh( absolutely the most pain I have ever been in), and then 17 stitches.
They have since finished the project.(a lot quicker then scheduled) lol
