Inb4turtlebeachareshit, well this is my 5th headset from turtlebeach now, the first 3 broke from me like 2 years ago from not taking care of them at all. I bought x31 when i got my xbox off my mate and they worked very good, but the other week the mic stopped working but i could here myself talking back but when i plugged the cord from the headset to my xbox controller no one could here me and the icon would not light up although i was speaking. I got sick of this so yesterday afternoon i bought x12s from my mate and got home and plugged everything in and the mic was working fine. I played a scrim and now the same incident has happend, sometimes it will work then it will decide not too, and now it is fully not working at all and i'm unsure if there is a solution to this or maybe i'm just getting faulty headsets that were at the peak of dying anyways.

Sorry if it didnt make too much sence i am on the ipad and it's hard to type. Basically just curious on what i should try or do. Thanks.

When I used turtle beaches I had to constantly change the voice setting on the dashboard. Play through headset and speakers.

check it's not your talkback cable, that was the case when this happened to me,

If not, use the tb's for game sound and just buy an xbox mic for $20 and hang it around your neck so you can talk.

Havent been on xbox for ages, where voice settings? And yeah Trav, thats the exact idea i was going to do haha.

I bought a standard Xbox headset and used my TB for sound.
But I just got Astros for Xmas and they are so good.

Might be your talkback cable, Ive been through 4 cables and mine lasted about 5 months each.
