fine, but get the non k series if you won't be ocing as it will save you a bit

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($89.00 @ Scorptec)
good cooler, but the stock is fine unless ambient temps are high or overclocking

Motherboard: ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($175.00 @ PCCaseGear)
generally asrock aren't favorable, pick up an asus p8z68 board

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($55.00 @ Mwave Australia)
fine

Hard Drive: Crucial M4 64GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($129.99 @ Mwave Australia)
never used one so no clue

Case: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition ATX Full Tower Case ($305.00 @ PCCaseGear)
why? pointless

Power Supply: Corsair 750W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($189.00 @ PCCaseGear)
Silverstone Strider Plus 750w, cheaper and essentially the same.

Optical Drive: Samsung SH-222AB DVD/CD Writer ($22.00 @ PCCaseGear)
fine

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 3-Pack (64-bit) ($99.00 @ Scorptec)
fine

Why are you getting your parts from different vendors? Wouldn't you lose any money saved on the shipping seeing as you'll need to pay shipping from three separate vendors? I don't see the point.

Fan is overkill, get a CM Hyper 212+
Get an Asus motherboard, I've always disliked ASrock.
Get low profile memory so you won't have any clearance issues with the 212+ - something like this
Case is a case. People will give you shit for spending that much money on a case, but I have a 800D so I can't talk.
Spend an extra $20 and get the Intel 80GB 320 Series SSD http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=210_902_1221
What's your requirements with the graphics card? What kind of games do you play and what do you want out of it?

It's the pixel pitch. Many 22" monitors run a resolution of 1920x1080, so does your 42" screen. Think about the sharpness of the image on your 42" - you've got the same number of pixels in the same aspect ratio being displayed but they need to cover 20" more space diagonally.

Long story short the picture will be blurry and look shithouse.

You mentioned you're a graphic designer; do you plan to do any on the computer?

^ This. Save $5 for the cheapest price on an individual part, pay $15 in postage to each company. Not worth it.
