I was wondering how do you get binds for Counter Strike 1.6 ? because i tried to load them in a Autoexc file. But when i start Pressing the numbers i binding the guns to, it brings up the buy menu ? Need help ASAP, Thank you

What I do is I find the commands that I need, open console and type for example...

bind o "say hello" but you would change it for what you need it for.

bind "<key>" "<command>"

Example:

bind "f1" "m4a1"

instead of putting the buy before the weapon like in source you just put what you are after.

Ohh so you cant use a autoexc file ?, im trying to bind my keypad for the binds like i do in Css. But just brings up the buy menu

he means when you write the bind don't put the word "buy" into it.

Well it still doesnt work from when i use the autoexc, Maybe Counter Strike 1.6 doesnt allow you to have Autoexc ?

i found out binds aren't meant to be placed into a autoexc because the config file already has then, But thank you guys heaps for helping me out, I got them working
