8v8 only removes caspian and we now have B2K. It makes most of the maps better as you still have enough players to cover everything but you don't have excess players floating around which forces you to make tougher decisions on where you use your players. 8v8 also opens up the maps allowing for greater pushing and less stagnant gameplay.

I don't really want to see all the unlocks brought into the game but whatever.

Would love to see the format changed for the first season.

Now in 6 months are we going to see 6v6 because teams can't hold numbers.
no because then you don't have enough players to viably cover things

europe has already moved to 5 vs 5 lol

Edit: nvm wow that's actually for conquest :\

8v8 suits our team, easier to manage.

Agreed. So many more opportunities for a push in 8v8 and having multiple formats is crazy annoying with a team still building its core members.

oh and also, if we are going to 8v8 competitively everywhere, I am 100% keen to play 12v12 in another ladder... 16v16 is too much and too hard to organise

Way ahead of you

please explain

Waffles, if a 12v12 ladder was to go ahead, are we talking about a few days, a few weeks or a couple of months (roughly)? I know it's probably hard to put a figure on it, because if you do and then can't follow through the community is more than happy to give plenty of flak; but it would certainly help with our clan's planning competition wise to know what our options might be in the near future.
