Hey guys so instead of making heaps of threads about important to non-important game related things we will be just updating this thread, thanks to lynx20 for suggesting it.

Ladder unlocks, locks, rule updates and game bans etc will have separate threads.

Perhaps instead of giving them your config, or anyone else's, you should provide a link to an external website from which they can select their own config to use.

With 1.6 not to sure on the websites, will ask a few people. But that config is pretty good and it's not like in COD4 where some work some don't

dxlevel doesn't work in 1.6, freq 60? No idea why you want to use 60hz, do not put that in your launch options ever, even if you have a 60hz monitor, you shouldn't use any -freq commands, the only commands you should have in your launch options are the 3 noforce commands.

don't use anyone's cfg, make your own and set it to 'read only' in properties, stay away from any type of custom cfg's in 1.6, it's not like source or cod or whatever crap other game, default is actually better than half the junk they put in.

I took it out but yea, keep thread clean from now.

I got told it did now I know it doesn't do shit, the config jakr sent me is near stock just with some important changes and handy binds.

It doesn't do anything at all, theres literally a handfull of commands that are usefull in 1.6 to change in your config that actually change the game for the better, the rest are completely personal preference.

for example the only things that NEED changing are - netcode rates (cmdrate, updaterate, rate, interp), the rest is entirely up to the user, even the launch options, some people are used to accel on their mouse

Can you tell me how to fix the accel then?
