My capture card can record PS2 (Old school ) with the correct colours but when I connect it to the xbox the colours just fail.

I have narrowed it down to one possible explanation:

When I change my video settings on the xbox to Pal:50 it works. I am wanting to Record our CG games on COD but as COD does not support pal 50 I am in a bad situation. Is there anyway around this or is it screwed.

Just adding: when for example I get shot and the screen goes red it sometimes freezes on the recording and stops

Im Having The Same Problem I Can Fiddle Around with it To Get it in colour but it wont let me record

Go to your xbox dashboard and play around with the display settings.

yea its your xbox that is in the wrong setting is it mean to record hd?

If it doesn't support pal 50 I don't see how you could fix it, but I'm not the smartest with this stuff. I had a-lot of things to say about the capture card until I realized it was completely different to mine as mine needs the cords to be ran through it.

I just realized what you said about the Pal-50. It's seems there is no fix to this, seeing as how MW3 can only play with 60hz.

Its so annoying I can record dashboard Nothing else though.

Yep but even having the Cap card Directly connected to the Xbox still gives me the same problem.

Not 100% sure but i think maybe u can only record in pal50 not 60 so u wont be able to record cod bud
