Hi friends
Well come back from an aussie weekend bender and pc has just shit itself, I have no sound from my soundcard or mobo, if i try to play youtube or any flash its choppy as **** like every 2 seconds a new frame.. I can hardly get 70 fps in cod mind you i struggle to get 125 before this.. If i open control panel it says windows explrer needs to re-start, I have tried using AVG and NOD32 nothing has come up.. I am stumped, any help please

No restore point , Im thinking i need to format aswell, last night i put in the windows7 dvd i had and its empty now :S
So i tried to download an .iso of w7 and it wont let me burn anything onto my dvd..

Umm it detects it, buy wont let me burn to it, Ive tried the windows fix for that and still no good..

edit* Could MOBO be fried? Just wouldnt explain control panel not opening etc..

update, sound works rest of pc is ****ed!

also OP, why do you need two anti viruses? if you're wondering why you can't reach 125fps.. its probably because you have a shit load of system hogging process running.

most probably this is the problem. try closing other programs then observe. common sense troubleshooting sometimes helps

delete both and get microsoft security essentials, all you need.

try putting the ISO onto a bootable USB and reformatting
