Dons Review ~ MadCatz MLG Pro Circuit Controller
A few days ago i managed to get my hands on one of these controllers for a nice price

And thought that i'd do a nice quick review on this pretty amazing controller. Emphasis on quick...
Controller Shape + Special Shit
The general shape of the controller is identical to a standard Xbox360 controller. There is little difference in button layout but i'll get to that later. The controller itself is heavier then a standard
wired xbox360 controller. Even without the added weights it is noticeably heavier. The weight that go in to the back each weigh 35G each so all up to can make your controller roughly 70g heavier, which is noticably different and is similar to a wireless controller with a battery pack.
The top of the of the controller is glossy whereas the bottom is the same material used on the TE razor controller. I'll assume its for better grip and feel.
The controller cable is detachable and its actually braided, meaning it impossible to tangle... unless you sit there and phsically tie knots in it :/

Thumbsticks + Buttons
This is where the magic happens and is what makes this controller so amazing.
The feel of the thumbsticks is identical to standard MS controller and the A,X,B,Y buttons are also in the same place. But as seen above they seem to have thought is was necessary to move the back, start and guide button. Their location is annoying at first but you get over that pretty quick.
AS many of you may know you can interchange the location of both thumbsticks as well as the D-Pad. This is an amazing feature that Madcatz have added to their controller. This pretty much mean that you can play on the PS3 with an Xbox thumbstick layout or vice versa. This will save you $$ on an expensive controller converter, perfect for those ESGN LANS.. or even just competing on the PS3 side of CG.
I would take it apart and show you.. but i CBB.
The only downside to the controller button layout is the location of the start/back buttons.
Incase any1 was wondering you can use
Kontrol Freaks ( remember to use the "TAUNTED" code for a 10% discount

Controller Overview + Added Features
A couple of little things that i thought i'd mention
The actual cable that plugs into the the xbox is completely removable from the controller. Making it quit asy to pack away for LAN etc

Madcatz said that they would make interchangeable cable lengths. Longer for people like my brother that sit like 2 football fields away from the TV. or really short for people like me who like better cable management and sit alot closer to their screen. Although it seems this option is not yet available
The Top of the controller is actually an interchangeable faceplate. This means you can get different designs for your controller i.e clan tags similar to what people do for their astro tags. This feature is also currently unavailable.
Overview of what you get:

2 things that i should mention.
Firstly, when you get the controller it comes with the complete PS3 layout ( persides the actual triangle, square etc buttons ), i.e the convex thumbsticks and the Ps3 thumbstick ( you can see in the pic above. )
Lastly, the controller is
NOT compatible for both consoles. IT only allows you to change the layout of the controller. The xbox and PS3 versions are 2 different controller.
lol i also forgot price.
You can get them of various sites for roughly $100USD. A little bit pricey, but you wont have to buy a controller converter and it seems pretty sturdy, according to MAdCats " this controlelr will be the last controller you will ever have to buy ".
I'll check back later in about a month to report any problems.. but so far i have had none
