So we just played our first scrim of 4v4.
Was intense fun, and probably the best scrim i'v had in a while. We managed to push them to 3-3, despite them absolutely smashing us on a couple of maps.
Then suddenly, shock and horror! We were unable to workout who had more tickets (reliably)! Because we were reasonably certain that they would have had more tickets, we gave them the win, despite them almost insisting that we just do overtime or call it a draw.
The problem is it's impossible to reliably capture the amount of tickets left. Once the end round scoreboard comes up, they are reset to 20, and obviously once the last person dies, the scoreboard comes up IMMEDIATELY so that you are unable to even get an ingame screenshot before the end of round scoreboard.
Being unranked servers they do not even show up in battlelog.
The system for what happens in a 3-3 situation obviously needs an overhaul. I am not sure if overtime would work, or if there is another way of reliably picking a winner. Or indeed if we simply just allow draws in this ladder.
Either way it needs to be fixed.
For the record, the team we played was noChance and they were very much willing to do the right thing by us and not take the win as soon as it was offered. Love you guys.
The rule as it states on the rules tab of this ladder
Quote:
1.5 In the event of a final score of 3-3 the game will come down to tickets remaining, this requires both teams to screenshot every round in case a dispute arises..
