Ive been red bar on COD for 3 days now, Public, private you name it. Its starting to annoy me bad.
I'm not downloading and no one is downloading, ive got into there laptop and checked.

I did a speed test and the results were:
Ping - 38 ms
Download - 7.19 mbps
Upload - 0.29 mbps.

Is it to do with low upload or is that a sort of normal speed. I also got uncapped a week ago and i havn't gone over at all..

No im not joining american / europe lobbies, My australian friends are hosting private matches and i still lagg.
Im red bar and i got to green 3-4 bar for about 15 seconds drop to 2 then 1.

How old is your router? Otherwise give your ISP a call.

Well that would be gay, try ringing up your internet provider.

Chances are it is your modem/router.
I get pretty much exactly the same ping/down and up as you and i'm fine.
I woudl actually try turning your modem off for 30mins. And while it is off, unplug all of your landlines (home phones) Then switch the modem back on and go and run and xbox live connection test.
Then after that get into a CoD match and see what it is like.
If it is good then connect your landline (homephones) together one at a time (if you have more than one) making sure to test what your connection does on CoD before you connect the next.
If everything is steady after that then oila.
But....
It seems like you may need a new modem.

Other than that try downloading stuff and make sure it downloads at the speed the the speed test says which is in your circumstance should be about 700kb/s.
If not ring your IP and tell them the problem. What i could also probably be is you are experienceing much packet loss between your IP and the hosts IP which is also a sign of a faulty landline or modem.

If he was capped then speed test.net wouldnt be that high.
And also just because it is the end of 'the month' doesnt mean it is the end of the billing period.
Mine ends on the 7th of every month and my mates on the 17th.....so its not the end of every month as such.

maybe by just having your ethernet or even the wireless in the computer is making you lag thats what happens with me

Family is either doing something on your internet, or your speed is being severely throttled by living in somewhat of a community, like, a place where everyone shares lines.

If you read he said he's not capped. Also some people get their internet back at different times of the month.

Not everyone's usage resets on the 1st.
My mate's is actually on the 15th of each month. Mine personally is on the 4th.
