Okay so there has now been 2 threads on potential maps for the upcoming CGi/m/a and open season. Cluster has taken off by the looks of it, teams are scrimming it constantly and the feedback from people is really good. It looks as if this map will almost be a certainty to appear in the rotation. Castle on the other hand had potential, but just had too many bugs and problems... I was not able to get into contact with the map maker so it looks like we are going to have to give this one a miss.
The next map we will have a look at is a remake of the popular CS map Season. This map was made by Nick and nd. It has been reworked quite considerably to make it more suitable for Cod4.

After scrimming it a few times already and running around playing HQ, it seems really really good. The map itself is made very well, the textures and design is very appealing on the eye. Its not a standard brown/cream coloured map like Strike/Backlot/Cluster. No problems or bugs have been found yet, as Nick has already thoroughly tested it many times with many people.
Game play wise.. It seems a little defence sided, but nothing to crazy. Solid strats and smokes for pushing into the bombsites will be a huge key to winning rounds on attack. SMG's will be strong in the alleys and hallways when pushing, while the AK's and scope will be effective in the mid section and for holding corridors, It seems really balanced for all guns.
I urge everyone to chuck this on their server just like they did with Cluster and give it a run for the next few days and post some feedback explaining why they think its good or bad.
