Hi CG.

I had a copy of Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD and some other programs on my PC. Then I set up another PC with no internet, to do all my editing and stuff on.

But after copying all my files/programs and stuff across via external hard drive, I go to run my Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD on my new PC and it gives me an error message along the lines of:

"Application failed to start, Side by Side Configuration is incorrect"

Anyone know what the flip is going on??

Have you tried to google it?
Usually I try that first then if not reinstall it.

Are you running two different OP Systems?

Perhaps actually install it on the new pc, and having internet always helps for updates and things

Two operating systems on the same PC
Or different op systems
XP - PC 1
Win7 - new pc.

usually some files corrupt if you transfer them without reinstalling from one op system to another.

Ahk well heres the situation.

Family PC (Better and has internet) Runs on Windows 7 and was original PC to have Vegas working on it

My PC (Old and cruddy no internet) Was on XP, but then I backed up the hard drive and did a clean install of Windows 7

Also Family PC = 64 bit
My PC = 32 bit

Oh yeah and when I boot up my PC it asks if I want Windows 7 or older version so XP is still in there somewhere...

64bit 32bit conflicting problem right there.

Have to use a 32bit version.
