Well we currently have 6 keen members that want to play on the 4v4 ladder nearly everday, I was looking through the formats of the comps run by CG and this bit stuck out to me

Moshpit Turbo XP Ladder - http://www.cybergamer.com.au/xbox360/gow3/ladder/
This ladder is a bit different. you move up on the ladder by earning points. So if you beat a team, you are rewarded with 'x' amount of points and you lose 'x' amount of points if you lose. With the Execution and Alpha ladder, when you beat a team, you take their spot in the ladder, so obviously you may only be in 1 challenge at a time, whereas with the Moshpit ladder, you can actually be in up to 4 challenges at once! So for instance, if all your team are on at once, you can go through and challenge a few teams and play possibly 3 clan matches in 1 night! Apposed to the other 2 ladders, where you send the challenge for a few days notice and both teams can prepare for the match. That's why this ladder is known as the 'Turbo Ladder'
Rules here

Yes its from the gears of war 3 section on the xbox 360 tab, BUT the format seems interesting as we are already using our own servers for cg games and it also means that inactive teams get pushed to the bottom of the ladder quicker. I like being able to play more games in a week than wait for a team to accept a time and wait a few days at a time to play.

This is how Alienware runs and it seems fairly effective, but there are issues then with whether the top teams in the ladder are actually top teams, or have just played a lot of scrub matches.

I think Alienware runs off some sort of ELO rating though so beating scrub teams continually wont get you far after a couple of weeks.

You trust major gameplay changes to the lower tier of clans?

Would create more ladder activity although might have to look at the details and options.

nothing. Just like Alienware, a team can decline a challenge with no penalty... it's a joke

KEEP CG LADDER HOW IT IS

Put it into Turbo mode Syrim, only problem is you can decline with no penalty.

ive always hated how slow cg/ga run their ladders, there should be options for teams to play as many matches a week as they want to, alienware style, so much better.

Should also be some limits on how often you can challenge the same team.
