I'm currently on my second deathadder...

The sensor seem to keep failing on me and I'm noticing some kind of skipping or negative/positive acceleration at random intervals.

Im deciding between getting another deathadder or making the transition to a Steelseries Sensei

Not sure what would be the best choice, considering I don't like playing with acceleration, I hear the sensei has 10% inbuilt hardware accel, is it that noticeable? if at all?

In terms of value, what would be the best purchase now?

If you dont mind a little bit of a high lift off distance (easily fixed with a bit of sticky tape) I would recommend the Ikari Optical, its legendary. Was no accel; neg or pos when I used it, and its got a perfect shape for your hand.

I've never had a problem with any gear from razer. My da is still fine after around 2 years of use.
