Date and Time

We will be starting at 10:30am EDST and finishing late (9pm will be the latest we finish).

Teams who show up late will forfeit their match or matches. Just like previous P2Ps, we will run to schedule!

Double Elimination Bracket and Seeding

14 teams have signed up, meaning that two teams will receive a bye into the second round of the winner's bracket.

Please note that for this competition, random seeding has been employed. The random seeds are listed as follows, but can also be found through the above link:

Prizes

14 teams have signed up, creating an overall prize-pool of $560. This will be split between 1st to 3rd placed finishers as follows:

1st Prize: $360
2nd Prize: $160
3rd Prize: $40


Tournament Structure

All matches will be a best of 5 series:
CTF, SND, CTF, SND, CTF

We will be using the continuation rule if needed. This will create a best of 11 series:
CTF, SND, CTF, SND, CTF, SND, CTF, SND, CTF, SND, SND

It is important that all competitors have a thorough understanding of the continuation rule before competing.

If teams are scheduled to play each other for a 2nd time in Double Elimination, their match will expand to a best of 11 series, include the previous match, and pick up where that match left off. For example, if player A beat player B 3 Games to 0 in the Winners Bracket, the best of 11 will resume with gametype 4 and player A leading 3 games to 0.

If you are playing a team for the second time in the competition and need to play a best of 11 series, you must contact BPL (on CyberGamer) or baked poslayto (on Xbox) for your list of maps / gametypes.


Game Rules

Spawns will be determined based on seed. The highest seed will choose spawns for maps 1, 3 & 5.

A neutral host is preferred for all matches, but not essential. If a neutral host can not be found, both teams need to agree on hosting arrangements. This can be one team hosting the entire match or switching hosts between halves or gametypes.

Party chat is allowed for all gametypes.

Please post results in this thread in the following format. Each match can be ended when a winner has been determined; eg. for a Best of 5 series, the match can be ended once a team reaches 3 map wins.
