Hey guys, Ive got a Intel Core2 Quad Core Q6600 @ 2.4ghz.
I also have 2.3gb of ram and a 9800GTX graphics card.
Ive got 2 hard drives were one has 8gb left on it the other has nothing at all, Ive got a 400w Antec power supply..
Yet for some reason my computer is still REALLY slow? Like my brother loads into games quicker then me and he has a Intel core duo and a 9600GT..
Also my motherboard is a 650i Ultra

What could be causing me these problems?

Sounds like an old computer, try de-fragmenting your hard drives.

Oh yeah, I got my computer built in like 2006/2007
but Ive been upgrading it here and there

Was a beast when you bought it - that CPU overclocked well, ran games like a boss, graphics card was one of the best for its price range. Simply put though, new stuff came out that can actually handle current games.

If you're still playing COD4 then it shouldn't be slowing down and you probably just need to format and reinstall windows, but if you're trying to play the latest games (2011/2012) then you're out of luck trying to get that computer to run them well.

Nah man,, im just trying to play LoL, I run CSS and Cod4 and WoW and HoN fine, its just loading into them is what takes forever

with LoL, I take forever to load into it for some reason and my computer just runs sluggish,
so a reinstall of windows?

performance degrades severely when u have that little space free on your hdd

So I should move some of the stuff onto my other hard drive?
