Its a good idea on how you did it , just hard to make out what its meant to be ? Try maybe spacing it out a tiny bit more so we can clearly see the P and D ?

Only thing i can see that could be fixed is the aqua squares aren't spaced evenly where they are.

Take away the stroke, Don't need it, The idea is right, but execution needs work, needs to be more appealing and eye grabbing, at the moment its just square, which isn't always a bad thing, but doesn't stand out, you want your own logo to stand out and show people what you can design/complete. Take away the stroke, because when changing colour of your logo to be watermarked etc will only look worse, and when logo is smaller etc, just try a few more ideas with it, because with adding something simple it can be alot better, also doesn't look even, may just be the stroke? not sure, but best of luck, post up your changes would love to see them

Very hard to read and not the typical logo a team would jump to buy

Love the idea and creativity though as Royds said just work on the execution

It's his own personal logo..

even so, it doesn't capture the eye and isnt visually appealing. Just having my personal opinion.

If its his personal logo and hes happy with it then good on him

haven't changed the design only added a yucky stroke, Which is completely unneeded, try play around with the design before bothering about the finishing, Theres alot of things i can see that would make it alot better and look alot better, but hey if you're happy with it thats alright then

There is something about this logo that im not liking. And i cant figure out what. I dont really agree with using bevel and emboss on logos/text because most of the time it looks tacky. Im not a fan of that green, but its really up to you. And depending on which design you will post on your images (I assume you will use the black and white?) i think it will look yuck if you stick the 'coloured' version on.

Its not very appealing either. Maybe try using different shapes or orientation.

But keep refining your logo. Take advice from Royds and other admins and eventually you will come up with something a lot better than what you started.

looks good, but;

- i think you can make it better by simplifying it. Get rid of the space within the letter( the counter).
- maybe making the edges rounded, that goes for the gap between the p and d.
- one directional lighting, so instead of showing light from top and bottom, maybe use only one and place it somewhere effective?


just my opinions oh and i'd got with the diamond, caught my attention the most.
other than that, you owned my first logo xD
