What most people in this thread are trying to say is
a) it's more or less a waste of money to spend that much on a computer.
b) new technology will be coming out soon, regardless if you don't want to buy the new ivy bridge it will more than likely push the price of the sandy bridges down at least a bit / you will have more parts to choose from.
