hey just wondering where the best place to buy capture cards are? (internet) im looking at buying one but i dont no much about the brands. if someone could link me to a decent australian site where i can buy one it would be good thanks...

You want to look for something that runs component or HDMI anything else (RGB) is not worth your while.

Avermedia gamecapture or the Hauppauge HD PVR are the main ones used for Xbox capture. Do your research before buying as they are pretty pricey.

Yea, But i think black magics are PCI cards (internal) for your PC. They are really good though, But as i said do your research on functions, Quality and price. Alot of people sell things like that on these forums if you go to the Classifieds under the General tab.

try a roxio mate, quite cheap, good quality and amazingly easy to use.

Edit: It's all packed up in the box ready to go because some guy was going to buy and didn't get the money so yeah. Works perfectly. I just don't have time to record and edit anymore.

I got a dazzle dvc 100, its not the greatest but does the job and still brings decent quality it depends on what you want to do with your CC if you want to get right into it i suggested getting a good cap card but if your doing it for fun and to try it out i would just go with a decent one. (:
