Greetings CG,

Here we are yet again with another grate interview from Vizual Productions, firstly we would like to thank OzFalcon for take the time our to do this interview with us. Also thanks to the CG community for reading upon this thread and giving it the views that it needs, this interview is going to be about the x hot top of CG this will be about the taunted brake up and the entry into VoX.

OzFalcon how long have you been playing compeitive here on CG, also what got you into this?
I've been competing on CyberGamer since 2008. Before that I was a competitive Counter-Strike player. When CS switched from v1.6 to CS:S, most of my teammates started to quit, the LAN scene slowed down, and online competitions due to hacking were not happening. I decided to give the Xbox a whirl having never played console before and purchased Cod5. From playing public I found myself mingling with and randomly joining a Headquarters team that competed on the CG WaW HQ ladder. And so my competitive start on CyberGamer began...

What had made you start the team of taunted?
I joined KAE for MW2. We had an excellent roster there with the likes of Wang, Razzle, Shoota, Miira and myself. Although we loved King as a person, we didn't agree with the way the team was run. One night we revolted by removing KAE from our clan tags and we were all kicked instantly from the team. As a result, we formed Taunted running it our own way, working hard, and made the jump from CGo to CGi in our first season. We basically took the same team under different leadership and called it something else.

Taunted was going so good for the years that it was around on CG, why did you call a break up?
The team slowly changed over time. Although it was a love-hate thing, Razzle leaving as an original was one setback. Morzza who became a core player later left and things began to change. Then most recently, Nino left for the same reason as Morzza and that was it for me. We ended up recruiting some immature players who poisoned the team from the inside and just couldn't grasp how good they had it. We had a group of great players but with losing the likes of Razzle, Morzza, and Nino, we no longer had a "team" but instead an immature group of individuals that clashed. Friendship is important in a team as is loyalty, and we began to lose grips on both. My time and effort in running the team and organisation for a few select brats became not worth the headache and so I pulled the plug to leave for bigger and better things.

Was this break up planned or just a straight up call?
It was slowly brewing with a certain member causing others to leave. I was devestated when my right hand man Morzza left, but when Nino left for the same reason, that was it for me and I pulled the pin. I was losing the people that I was enjoying playing with and putting in the organisational effort for. The roster we had wasn't capable of making a dent in CGi or 4v4s because attitude was holding us back in a big way. I tried for a couple of months to fix it, but it proved to be a lost cause so I pulled the pin.

How do the other boys from taunted feel about the break up of there now ex team?
I really feel for the good guys there, and newer members such as Willyum and Traavizz who became LFC for reasons beyond their control. I feel that we were Trav's big break and I hope other teams recognise why we picked him up and give him an opportunity. I know both players are highly upset, but it was time to end that chapter. In regards to the others, clearly they thought that Taunted wasn't good enough for them, nor did they appreciate it, thus they caused it to fall apart so best of luck to them.

Do you honestly think the boys are not annoyed about taunted leaving right before finals?
The people who cared most about winning are the people who killed the team the most due to poor attitudes and chin shit. They put in the least amount of effort to keep the team and organisation going strong. Nino and I are disappointed that we will miss out on CGo snd finals after sitting in #1 all season, and so will the likes of Willyum and Traavizz. However, for Nino and I, we would rather not play CGo Finals than put up with some of the immaturity that we were having to deal with amongst the team.

What is it that VoX has that taunted didnt?
A mature group that is 18+ and a team that is actually a "team". These guys will comm just as hard when they are losing than when they are winning. To me that is what makes a champion team and why these guys have been continuously successful. I'm playing with a great bunch of blokes where loyalty and friendship plays a big part in the team - something that Taunted lost with the departure of certain members who were poorly replaced. These guys have what I tried to do in Taunted but just couldn't.

Will there be a return of taunted do you think?
No. That chapter is finished for me and I am 100% dedicated to Vox Eminor.

Do you think the old taunted boys will start it up again?
The people who caused the issues in the Taunted team I think have attempted to start up some sort of team which from what I've heard, has fallen apart already. There is no leadership there and there are too many conflicting personalities. Best of luck to them if they try and make it work, but I think they need to split and go their own ways.

How do you think you will go with the team of VoX?
I've played multiple scrims so far and I couldn't be happier and more positive going forward. I was a bit nervous at first coming into a new team (something I havn't done in a very very long time), but I feel that I've settled in well. I had a memorable 2v2 clutch last night on Seatown with Mauseum and that for me was just an example of how comfortable I am in terms of the level of teammwork that is present here. I've been in all my teams for long periods of time, and this I feel is another long-term move for me.

Are you happy that you are in VoX?
Absolutely!

Is there anything you would like to say to anyone?

Just a big thanks to the VoxE CoD roster. To join these guys, their new recruit had to be agreed on by all the team and not just by a captain or the majority. These guys have given me an opportunity that I am grateful for and look forward to running amok with. In regards to Taunted, many thanks to all the members past and present for making it an enjoyable 14 months with much success. It reached its expiry date though and I'm thankful to VoxE for opening a new door for me as I move forward. Thanks!

great read. Falcs you did kinda have a dent in 4v4 and SnD seeming your teams were both 1st on the ladder. but agreed that your team needs loyalty and friendship to really keep it going and getting better
