recently, more threads are pounding the CG threadboard either LFC or LFM. Something however is starting to grind my gears. People who have not had any form of league experiance are requesting CGm worthy teams? This however is not going to be accomplished because their thread is not about their confidence rather their prev teams. Although I personally believe you look like a twat when people post these LFC threads, I also believe that league worthy teams should give some of these players a trial. i.e what forsaken are doing now.

People who beleive their good enough to be in leagues should be given a trial by a team, as it strengthens the CG community. It gives opportunities to CGo players that are underrated and unnoticed. If you are in fact the captain of a league team ... you must have some idea of wether a player has potential, as you were the one who created your successful team, thus meaning you should be able to spot POTENTIAL in 1-2 games.

Instead of LFM threads ignoring those without exp. in leagues trial them for ONE game, 10 mins that could establish a players future on CG, and could work out well for you as well ...

if you teams - who were given opportunities yourself - do take on one of these players, report this in a 'post-game like' thread and help players achieve success rather than the same players rotating throughout the CG community.

Who knows their could be a star in the making byez

p.s by posting a post trial thread it will limit the amount of players aiming way above their league as if they do not have any capabillities in leagues, it will point this out to others ... and notify their strong points.

This will not work, teams arent going to risk 3 rounds in a league match where they have paid money.
If you mean scrims, it would be good to give more people a chance.

What needs to change is not so much captains attitudes to getting new players as it is, the trialing players expectations. By now people should be realising that the way to be noticed is to become good as a team, then once people notive the team, they will notice players.

Its a bit of a paradox, cant get experience unless have had some experience.

Unknown players need to make their own teams, work hard, get wins, then get noticed.

As stated above if you make your own team and get experience you'll get recognized. No league teams would give me a trial let alone respond but I have proved them wrong and lead a team into top 15 and will now be competing in the Intermediate Finals

Nope, players need to create a team with mates and develop into teams worthy of leagues to get noticed, no free rides for potential.
